Sarah & Tim’s Wedding 4th August 2012 at St James, Kingston and A Marquee Reception nearby.

A trip over to the Isle of Purbeck for today’s wedding at St James’,  a grand Victorian church in the village of Kingston. The village is situated on a hill surrounded by woods and overlooks Corfe Castle. A favourite location for walkers to stop by for a welcome drink at the Scott Arms which is where Sarah was getting ready for her wedding.

We started by meeting Tim and his Best Man as they arrived at the church. Today’s weather forecast wasn’t brilliant and thunder and lightning had been mentioned. However, from our arrival onwards it just got better and better, the Isle of Purbeck has it’s own micro climate!

Sarah arrived with her Dad in a horse-drawn carriage and was met by her bridesmaids, page-boy and Revd. Gaynor Burrett who led the way up the path to the church door.

The ceremony was full of fun, laughter, tears and smiles and of course the serious elements as well. With the vows made, rings exchanged, registers signed hymns sung and prayers said the couple made their way out of the church into the glorious sunshine.

The guests made their way onto the marquee after a few formal photos and the throwing of confetti. Sarah and Tim stayed at the church for some photos of just the two of them while we waited for the return of the horse and carriage which had taken the bridesmaids and page-boy up to the marquee.

Sarah and Tim enjoyed some time alone in the carriage as it made its way up to the marquee where all the guests were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newly married couple.

We wish Sarah and Tim a very happy and long life together. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images from their day.

All of the photos from the day will be available to view online as soon as Sarah and Tim have had first look. Sarah & Kevan’s Wedding 24th July 2012

A glorious day in the beautiful village of Corfe and we were at one of our favourite locations, Mortons House for the wedding of Sarah and Kevan.

Mortons House is a perfect venue for small and intimate weddings with lots of different areas that can be used for photos and is only a short stroll away from the village and castle.

The guests congregated in the warm sunshine on the terrace before taking their seats in the ceremony area where Kevan was waiting for Sarah to arrive. Sarah looked amazing in her gown from Posh Togs and was accompanied by Charlotte and Lily the bridesmaids and Joseph who was giving her away.

With the ceremony over and registers signed the couple made their way back out into courtyard for a champagne reception with their guests. with a few formal photographs taken we strolled into the village for some photos of the newly married couple.

Most couples like to have some photos with the castle in the background which can normally be achieved on the church green, but today’s wedding coincided with the village fête on the green so we had to go into the castle grounds.  With photos done we strolled back to Mortons House for a photo of everyone ahead of the wedding breakfast buffet.

We would like to thank Sarah and Kevan for their hospitality and invitation to lunch, it was most welcome and as always the food at Mortons House was exceptional.

We wish Sarah and Kevan a long and happy life together. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images from their day.

All of the photos from the day will be available to view online as soon as Sarah and Kevan have had first look.
