Elvira & Mahmut’s Wedding 17th November 2011

Bournemouth Town Hall was the location for Elvira and Mahmut’s wedding. We met Mahmut and the guests there after spending some time with Elvira preparing for their wedding. She looked stunning and was so natural in front of the camera, we created some  great shots and knew that there was more to come later that day after the ceremony.

The wedding was small and attended by close relatives and friends, some had travelled down from London to share this special day. They all congregated outside the Town Hall in the warmth of the autumn sunshine.

The arrival of Elvira’s wedding car was the prompt for Mahmut to make his way into the ceremony as they wanted to keep the tradition of the Groom not seeing the Bride. With the guests then seated Elvira made her entrance escorted by her little brother Ruslan.

After the ceremony all the guests joined the newly married couple in the gardens for a few family photos before leaving us with them for some photographs of just the two of them. The late afternoon sunshine coupled with the autum colour of the leaves on the trees provided an amazing background for this. We returned the couple to their guests for an afternoon of celebration before they were joined by more guests for their evening party.

We wish Elvira and Mahmut all the very best for their future together.

We hope you enjoy these few images from the day. All of the photographs from the day will be available to view online as soon as Elvira and Mahmut have seen them. Kirsten and Chris’s Wedding 5th November 2011

A short journey to the quaint village of Corfe Castle on a coldish and damp morning.

Kirsten’s family were staying in a cottage in the village where the bridal preparations were taking place. We arrived to find everything running smoothly and in an air of calm. The bride looked stunning and looked quite relaxed with a beaming smile.

A short journey around the corner took us to Mortons House Hotel. a lovely 16th Century Manor house, which always has a very warm welcome. The ceremony and reception were being held here and after a few arrival photographs with Chris, the best man and ushers, we awaited the arrival of the bride.

The guests took their places in the oak panelled drawing room ahead of the bride’s arrival. Kirsten still had that beautiful smile although a little nervous now and soon she was accompanied in to the ceremony by her parents’ who both had the honour of giving her away.

After the ceremony the guests were invited to join the couple in the courtyard for a photo of everyone before heading over to the garden area for a few family and group photos. At this point the sun was breaking through the clouds and bringing an unexpected blue sky with it, somewhat different to the forecast of blustery showers.

After a glass of champagne and a mingle with their guests Kirsten and Chris took a walk with us into the village centre for a few photos with Corfe Castle in the background.

We wish Kirsten and Chris all the very best for their future together.
